The story behind Skillshare International School
Idongesit Ituen
Founder & Visionary
Idongesit Ituen, a strong advocate for technology and career-based education, is an alumnus of the University of Calabar where he holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science. His passion for educational reform and youth empowerment drives the mission of Skillshare International School.
In 2017, he conceptualized the idea of a restructured school curriculum that seeks to prepare students for self-reliance. This vision became reality in September 2019 when Skillshare Training and Development Academy (STADA) was opened, marking the beginning of a transformative educational journey.
A widely traveled educator, Idongesit has attended numerous international seminars and conferences across Asia and Europe, bringing global best practices to Nigerian education. As a former legislator, philanthropist, and sports enthusiast, he combines diverse experiences to create a holistic educational approach.
At 43 years old and a father of two, he understands the importance of preparing the next generation for success in an ever-changing world.
